Edith Clarke rewrote the rules of engineering through pure determination and innovation. The first woman to earn an electrical engineering degree from MIT and the first professionally employed female electrical engineer in the country, working at GE. She invented tools that simplified complex equations related to electric power transmissions for facilities like the Hoover Dam.

Obert builds workwear engineered for women's bodies, not shrunken-down versions of men's gear. We believe good product balances style, durability, and functionality, because gear that actually works doesn't make you choose between any of them.
INCLUSIVE SIZING
We spent years developing the right fit for all body types. Industry standards create one size (typically a 2 or 4) and grade up from there. We did things differently. We sourced fit models across our size range and developed our sizing with real women. We add curve where you need it and take the bulk where you don't.
