After years of wearing ill-fitting clothes on job sites and struggling to find products that actually worked, I had enough of “unisex” sizing made for men and a culture that treated women as an afterthought.
but it doesn't stop there
It was the same with boots. All men's sizing - big, bulky, and uncomfortable. The same question kept coming up. Why weren't the products I was required to wear not made for me?
THE INDUSTRY NEEDED A CHANGE
I decided to learn how to create the products I was missing. I've spent the last two years visiting factories, interviewing women, and creating the products I wish I had. We deserve products that keep us safe and make us confident on the job.
OBERT WAS BORN
Obert was born out of my personal frustration with the lack of women's workwear on the market. It's turned into a misson to equip more women to work where they want. Named after my grandmother, Obert embodies the grit and determination women have to break barriers.
